HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

This weekend Jeff and I went to a fun Halloween party at our friends' (Brad and Emily) house up in Alpine. It was 14 of us and we all had to dress up. It was so fun and we loved dressing up. Jeff and I were Bob Young (Brigham's bad brother) and i was his trophy wife... he had a long wallet fold out of all of his other wives... (pictures of nasty women we found on people of walmart).

Always playing Catch-up

As usual... I'm playing catch up with the whole blog thing...

On the 24th we went to see BRAD PAISLEY (quite possibly my FAVORITE singer) Darius Rucker was also there. (Listen to Alright it's amazing)
Brad gave a shoutout to all the people in the "cheap seats" and walked about 100 ft in front of us to get closer to them. earlier when i was taking pictures of him up on stage jeff told me to turn off the flash to get a better picture. needless to say... i forgot to turn it back on when Brad was SO close so this is all i got haha





We will have also finished round 1 of midterms as of tomorrow... so far so good :)

Yesterday, October 4th 2010, the top of Mt timp was covered in snow. This was a sad day in that winter is inevitably coming... and soon.

Before I went to Costa Rica and them home I lost my Ipod somewhere. Once we got pell grants I bought myself a new Ipod (ya know the new ipod touches with the cameras and stuff) we were leaving for the concert... SO excited to see brad paisley we decided we'd listen to him the whole way on the NEW ipod. Guess what was in jeff's car attached to his ipod cable... my old ipod. i was sad... jeff was happy because he got a new ipod! then on thursday night lost my ipod again... this time the new one. I had gone to see Stephanie Nielson (who i got to meet :) ) and lost my ipod along the way. I felt so bad that I told jeff I would take the old Ipod back and he could get the Ipad he wanted. Sunday morning we were supposed to go to General Conference but didn't get the chance to because Jeff was sick all night with food poisoning. Jeff kept thinking he had heard my new ipod's alert sound but we had already checked the WHOLE house so i dismissed it. Finally we decided to pick up the whole mattress and boxspring and what did we find. the ipod. Now we have 1 first gen ipod touch. 1 fourth gen ipod touch and 1 ipad. cool haha


I am so glad to have by best friend Kyria back in provo. Just a few weeks ago her father Rod Dial passed away in a kayaking accident. He was an amazing man and I know he is missed tremendously but his "legacy" (no pun intended :) ) lives on.

Recentlyy

As of recently we have COMPLETELY finished moving EVERYTHING in. I am so excited to be done with:

Moving clothes around
unpacking
putting together couches, tv stands, kitchen tables, end tables, coffee tables, luvsacs, and dressers.
finding home furnishings
moving boxes from place to place

I am SO glad that we are all done :)

Jeff and I have become completely and TOTALLY obsessed with Lie to me. We are using our netflix to watch this show... so excited to watch the finale tomorrow :)

Tonight, we got to have a cousin dinner at our house with some of Jeff's cousins that are in Provo. Once again got to use the delicious recipe courtesy of lindsay and wow them with my amazing cooking... well following an amazing recipe. and of course after dinner we had some lie to me time :)

Can't wait for more fun events like BRAD PAISLEY this friday :) (this will be my 3rd time seeing him and only jeff's 1st... coulda been my 4th and jeffs 2nd but i was in that silly little accident... if it were up to me i would have gone in my beautiful TLSO.)

We're Married!

Ok so jeff and I have been married for almost 2 WEEKS now and it's been nothing short of AMAZING. We were NON-STOP busy for the wedding going to DC to the temple on thursday, Sealed in that temple on friday morning, lunch at the hotel with everyone, then dinner that night at the DELICIOUS Kinloch.

Saturday we woke up and went to my house to hang out with the groomsmen and the bridesmaids that stayed at my house. Once we were all ready we went to the AMAZING Amber Grove Plantation for the ring ceremony and reception. Everything from the flowers to the lanterns to the scenery was GORGEOUS thanks to my mother :)

This past weekend we had another reception here in Utah. It was beyond beautiful thanks to my wonderful mother-in-law, new aunts, future sister-in-law, and so many other hard workers. It was SO fun and I can't wait to get pictures from it all from the AMAZING Brittany Cascio

SO on to married life. It has been SO fun. Mostly eating, buying and decorating for now. Its been a blast though. This morning i was taking jeff to work and we were a little early so i asked him to tell me his favorite and least favorite thing about being married so far.
His FAVORITE thing was dinner... made me feel really good :) especially since i made the most delicious meal EVER this week thanks to Lindsay Andersen (i'll have to put the recipe up soon because it was AMAZING)

His LEAST FAVORITE thing is that he doesn't get to play call of duty enough. sad day jeffrey. :(

So far all is good and hopefully i'll get back to being a good blogger now that i'm married :)

83 hours

In only 9 and a half short hours jeffrey will be HERE. in VIRGINIA! not baltimore, not DC, not norfolk, not raleigh. he's flying into the good ole RICHMOND airport and I'm so excited. We are getting married in 83 short short short hours and i couldn't be more excited. While he is here we will be running NONSTOP errands and im so excited to have someone to actually do them with :) with only 3 days to go i'll go ahead and give 3 reasons i'm most excited to be married.

1. i get a cuddle buddy 24/7 ok ok maybe not since jeff doesn't always want to cuddle (or cuddow because i can't say "ld" ...thanks Kylee Dial for teaching me that :) ) But i have the option whenever i want.

2. i always have someone who cares about me. I'm so excited to be able to every night just talk about our day together and just share everything. Along the lines of sharing everything i had the epiphany a few weeks back that i am never going to have my own bed or room again! i guess if i have to have another roommate jeffrey is a pretty good one to have :)

3. someone i get to kiss whenever i want. One of my favorite movies is Sweet Home Alabama... reminds me of Virginia on steroids... anyways melanie asks jake "What do you want to be married to me for, anyhow" and he replies "So I can kiss you anytime I want." i'm excited for that... let's hope jeff is too :)

Get excited everyone.... only 3 days to go :)

Costa Rica!

ok. although im not with jeff i thought i'd do a blog post from down here in costa rica! it is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! i LOVE IT! so far we've zip lined, rode horses, gone to a mud bath, hung out with the locals, gone shopping, surfing, eaten TONS of yummy food, seen snakes, frogs, parrots, monkeys, and lot and lots of butterflies. My internal clock is being completely thrown off my the sun rising at 530 am and setting at 600 pm! but i love it because im usually asleep by 9 :) Here are a few pictures from the adventures

last night we drove a few hours to go see a volcano. sterling, hayden and clark went to go ride the water slides but i went to sleep. as soon as i went to sleep, a knock on my door comes. hayden hit sterling in the eye with his head and needed stitches. being the only spanish speaker of the group i had to get up and come to the hospital clinic.

Catch up

wJuly 27th was my birthday. I decided i didn't want to be a teenage bride so i turned 20. For my birthday jeff got me beatles rockband, the original rockband game, and a gorgeous key ring. it was amazing. My parents got me tickets to go see Brad Paisley in september too :) My present for myself (via grandma's birthday money) was my very own Leo... short for leopold :) Leo is a baby ball python... YEP I am now a snake owner. Now before you go thinking ewww gross. Ball Pythons are the NICEST snakes and great pets. He will end up being about 4-5 feet long and about 30 years old :) i'm excited to be a "Cool mom" that has a snake :)

Last week I had to do a project for my History of Creativity Project. I was stumped until sunday... 3 days before my project was due... YIPES!!!! :( I decided to do a "creative" recreation on "the thinker" i made the sculpture by wrapping myself in saran wrap part by part then wrapping THAT in packing tape.

This week jeff and i also moved lots of things into our apartment and got our first wedding present! we have our bed, night stand, love seat, chair, tv stand, LEO TANK, and end/coffee tables




As of today, i have to take 2 quizzes, 2 finals, pack, and get ready for COSTA RICA with my family in 4 days and i'm marrying the man of my dreams in only 20 short days :) i LOVE my life!
